Here are three drawings of film stars for February's issue of The Believer. Robert Ryan in Crossfire, Loretta Young in Rachel and the Stranger, and Kirk Douglas in Out of the Past. The issue has a really cool comics section, including a funny one by Lisa Hanawalt, and awesome little drawings throughout the issue by Charles Burns, Tony Millionare and, oh yeah, cool guy Jason Polan.

These are a few of the spots I did for the Winter issue of Maisonneuve, about tourism in Canada. I've only been to Montreal, but don't worry, it isn't as dangerous as it looks in these drawings! Click on them to enlarge

Here is a drawing I did for the review of the documentary The Pat Tillman Story in this week's New Yorker. Pat Tillman gave up a contract to play football with the Arizona Cardinals to enlist in the army, and was then killed by friendly fire in Afghanistan. The government tried to cover up his death by saying he was killed while fighting off a Taliban attack, and use his unfortunate death as propaganda. The review says that one of the more memorable moments in the movie is when one of Pat's brothers, Richard, publicly responds to religious pieties with the words "He's not with God. He's fucking dead." The movie is playing at BAM starting on January 6th.
