Post Number 132

This is a drawing I did for the blog Vanishing New York. The drawing is the first for a series of vignettes that will appear on the site. You can read the full post here, and I will probably post the drawings here as they appear on Vanishing New York. You can also read the interview they did with me here.

Also, I got an email from Matt Madden, one of the editors of Best American Comics, and he told me that a couple of the comics from Gutter made it onto the List of Notable Comics in the 2010 Anthology. Pretty cool!

Post Number 129

This is a drawing I did for today's letters page in The New York Times, about the failed Times Square car-bombing attempt. I had some time yesterday, so I figured I might as well go up to the corner where the car had been parked (45th and W Broadway) and draw in the middle of Times Square, which is just as exasperating as it sounds. Read the letters here.
The headline for the letters page is The Shudders From Times Square, which sounds like a good comic title.
